Empowerments from recordings?
Every now and then someone tells me that they felt a charge from a recording of an empowerment. They ask, "Did I get the empowerment?", and my answer is always no. Here's the thing.
When empowerments are given and received, distance doesn't matter. Be it physical distance from the other side of the same room, or from one continent to another, or even from a guru in nonphysical realms to you in physical body, distance is of no concern. But, getting the empowerment properly has to happen at the same time it is given. The logic is that if you're not there when it is given, you're simply not there to get it properly.
Feeling energy or receiving blessings are not empowerments, although also beneficial.
